IP6 Security Protocols - Update

Dear Customers,

Due to new security protocols, plain Unsecured sFTP has been disabled on our network. To use sFTP, you will need to enable the
SFTP or SCP option in your FTP Program. SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocal) and SCP (Secure CoPy) are intended as a replacement for FTP (File Transfer Protocal).

With SFTP or SCP, your password, data and all activity will be encrypted and not transmitted 'open' just like general FTP.

The only things that you must change in your FTP program is the Connection Type and Port.

FTP Host/Address: (your ip address or domainname)
Protocol: SFTP
FTP User: (cPanel user name)
FTP Password: (cPanel password)
Port: 3122
Path/directory: (blank)

As always, Please open a support ticket if you need any additional assistance. We will be happy to assist you further.

Regards,
Derrick L.
