You will need to unlock the domain and the EPP Secret Code in order to Transfer a domain to your new Registrar.
Hereby the steps to transfer your domain away from HDWEBPROVIDER™:
1. Login your account: https://account.hdwebprovider.com/clients/clientarea.php
2. Select the domain [Domains/My Domains]
3. Click on Manage Domain
4. Registrar Lock [Must be disabled]
5. Management Tools
6. Get EPP Code
Provide this new code to your Registrar. They will assist you with the process further. Once they start the transfer process you will need to confirm the transfer by clicking on the email they will send to you.
Note: If you have WHOIS PRIVACY on your domain, you need to DISABLE this first.
1. Login your account: https://account.hdwebprovider.com/clients/clientarea.php
2. Select the domain [Domains/My Domains]
3. Click on Manage Domain
4. Domains/Addons ID Protection must be DISABLED.
Can I speed up a transfer process?
Domain transfers are a fully automated process. There is no way to expedite a transfer. Once the transfer has ben initiated it will take between 3-7 business days.
There is nothing we or your new registrar can do to expedite the process.
What if my domain expires during the transfer
If the domain will expire within 5-7 days after the transfer process has been initiated, it will have no consequences. The domain will not be lost if you transfer it to another registrar before it expires, even if the transfer process is not completed before the expiry date.
My domain has just been expired. Can I still transfer it away?
Unfortunately no, If the domain is expired, you need to renew this first before you can start a transfer process.
