How do I make my private name servers the default for all accounts I create in WHM?
So, you want your private name servers to be used for all future accounts you create.
Note: This will only set the name server entries in the DNS zones. Your customer must still update their name servers with their registrar.
Reseller:
In WHM, click "Basic cPanel/WHM Setup".
Replace the information after "Nameserver 1:" with your primary private name server (Example: ns1.domain.com).
Replace the information after "Nameserver 2:" with your secondary private name server (Example: ns2.domain.com).
Finally, click Save Changes.
Dedicated:
In WHM, click "Reseller Center".
In the third area called Reseller Modifications, select the user/domain and click "Edit reseller privileges & nameservers".
Now scroll all the way to the very bottom.
Replace the information after "Nameserver 1:" with your primary private name server (Example: ns1.domain.com).
Replace the information after "Nameserver 2:" with your secondary private name server (Example: ns2.domain.com).
Finally, click Save All Settings.
